At Davin's suggestion, James can only nod and smile despite his tiredness from the night's earlier events. They definitely have a couple of weeks to make up for being apart, and he doesn't mind when Davin practically drags him up the stairs behind him. He hardly has time to enter the room before Davin presses against him, and he lets his hands slide down to his hips, focussing on Davin's face with a soft smile.

"I happen to like you as well," he says with a laugh. He more than likes Davin. It's become rather obvious that his feelings for Davin are very intense and serious. "Well. I'm not gonna lie. I thought I was a goner for a second there too." But they both know Davin managed to protect them both from the dragon. Thank goodness.
