"That's not dumb," James says with a nod, sighing softly because this is all he's wanted. For them to be them again. "I know that I could remember everything, but even then, I just---it didn't feel like you. It's hard to explain. I'm just glad that it's all over." He reaches up to clutch Davin's cheek, pressing a kiss to his lips for a few seconds, happy that he is finally able to do that again. Because now this is really Davin he's holding instead of someone that in many ways was a stranger.

He isn't sure if he was the one to bring Davin back, but maybe he was. Maybe it proves how much they care about each other. All of this has made him realize that in many ways.
